ABOUT ME
I am a freelance journalist, writer, host, and creative strategist based in London.
My work has been published in London publications and I’ve interviewed talented actors, authors, and public personalities about their creative processes. Interviews include best-selling author, David Nicholls; Gavin & Stacey’s, Mathew Horne; as well as F1 Movie star, Callie Cooke.
A passionate foodie with a love for writing about the subjective, I also write food and travel features to share in the magic of luxury experience. Recent features have included buzz-worthy, Oriole, Roe, Coworth Park, and Kolamba.
Before going freelance, I was Head of Author and Agent relations at Amazon Books. Here, I edited digital books magazine, Amazon Editors’ Choice, as well as worked on a number of customer-facing editorial, PR & marketing campaigns including The Graham Norton Book Club, Amazon’s Best Book of the Year, and The Kindle Storyteller Award, Black Friday, and Prime Day.
A neuroscience graduate with a love of storytelling, I am passionate about how representative but emotionally fluid stories can shape the future of female health. I co-produced theatre night, RE-PRODUCTION, to champion new writing and open conversations around reproductive health in November 2024. I have written publicly about my experiences of endometriosis and egg-freezing. My short fiction Got It?’ about work-life-fertility balance will be published in Ache, Magazine in 2025. My work-in-progress fiction manuscript, Self-preservation, looks at these themes in more detail.
Thanks to my experience running Amazon’s Books events including presence at The London Book Fair and meeting many writers and creators over the course of my career, I really began to understand the value of community for creatives. As a result, I’ve lent into my curiosity to understand others better, and bring them people by cultivating and fostering creativity meet-ups for writers. I co-host quarterly in-person meet-ups in London for Substack writers (Writers IRL) and I am one a London Writers’ Salon hosts for their monthly in-person writers’ hour.
